Who we are
The Carbon Script is a marketing agency for life science and technical companies. You can contact us about this policy at hello@thecarbonscript.com.
What we collect
Information you send us. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, work email, company, country and message.
Analytics. With your consent where required, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are read and how people arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes data such as device, browser and approximate location. We do not use advertising cookies.
Why we use it
We use the information you send us to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver our services. We also use Microsoft Clarity to see, in aggregate, how people use our pages through heatmaps and anonymized session recordings. Clarity masks sensitive information such as form entries. We use analytics to improve the site. Our legal bases are your consent for analytics cookies and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
Cookies and your choices
When you first visit, you can accept or decline analytics cookies. If you decline, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity run in a restricted mode that does not set analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the choice back.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We use trusted service providers to run the site and our business, including our web host, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting relationship, and analytics data according to Google Analytics retention settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the UK, the EU and some US states, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how it is used. Email us at hello@thecarbonscript.com and we will respond within the time the law requires.
Changes
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
